REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR SUMMER CLASSES!
ENROLLMENT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE BELOW!
Camp Dio is a unique and exciting one week summer program for children and teens of all ages! Our program is designed and taught by a team of certified educators and professional actors to give each child the most comprehensive and informative experience possible.
Your child can expect to learn about everything from acting, singing, and dancing to theatre terms, and technical aspects of theatre using theatre games and team building activities as well as one on one coachings and time on stage with their instructor. In addition, students will work on a short musical theatre performance piece that will be shared with family and friends at the end of the one week program.
Our program is process based, meaning that the performance at the end of the one week program will be a showcase of some of the knowledge and techniques that our students have learned. This is not a finished product. It is a work in progress that will provide important building blocks in your child’s growth as an outgoing and experienced performer.
Students will be split into groups based on the grade they attend in school. These groups are not based on a child’s previous theatre experience, and no child will be moved to a higher group unless their instructor feels it necessary for the child to get the most from the program. Young children wishing to participate in our program should be comfortable in a social setting without a parent or guardian. Please be aware that any form of bullying will not be tolerated and any child found attacking another student whether physically or verbally will be immediately removed from the program.
